The TLH Books Blog is for you! Recently relaunched, the TLH Books Blog is an opportunity for Tallahassee Writers Association members to publish book reviews and other writing-related articles online, with a chance that they will be picked up for the print edition of the Tallahassee Democrat. An added benefit is that people who read your reviews will want to look YOU up and see what books you have written. Free advertising!
The blog is open to TWA members and provides a huge online readership. If you're interested in writing a review, some great tips are available in Peggy Kassees's How to Write A Book Reivew. If you have written a review, summary of a conference experience, or tips for writers in our area, please send it to M.R. Street at turtlecovepress@gmail.com. Include high-resolution images of the book cover, book's author, article's author, conference photos, etc. (A photo release must accompany photos with identifiable people.) Also include a short bio of the article's author (you!).
