  • Kathryn Lord

    Kathryn Lord is a Maine native. A wannabe back-to-the-lander, she built a house on an island, patched minds as a psychotherapist, and mended hearts as a romance coach. Kathryn now lives, writes, and fosters kittens in Tallahassee. Between Here and Way Far Away placed third in the 2024 Gutsy Great Novelist Chapter One Prize and was a semifinalist in the 2022 University of New Orleans Press Lab Prize.

  • Paige McKay Kubik

    Paige McKay Kubik has written as an advocate for marginalized communities over a 40-year career in human services and social work. She has studied creative writing at Florida State University, Emory University, and Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, and is active in critique groups with Tallahassee Writers Association, Atlanta Writers Club, and editor Wayne South Smith. Paige is currently writing a novel inspired by her time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Central America during the Reagan administration.
