Biography

M.R. Street is an award-winning author of middle-grade (BLUE ROCK RESCUE*) and young-adult (THE WEREWOLF'S DAUGHTER*, THE HUNTER'S MOON) fiction.  She has also published non-fiction ("Hachiko: Dog of Japan" in FACES magazine) and book reviews for the Tallahassee Democrat.  She is also an independent publisher who worked with Lt. General Lawrence F. Snowden to publish his memoir, SNOWDEN'S STORY. She recently signed author Susan Koehler and published her historical novel, DAHLIA IN BLOOM, which received a starred review from Kirkus Reviews. M.R. coordinates the Teen Authors Guild (a TWA project which promotes young writers) and publishes an anthology of the winning stories in the Big Bend Area Literacy Council's annual student narrative fiction contest.  She serves as secretary on the TWA Board of Directors.  *BLUE ROCK RESCUE won first place in the Royal Palm Literary Awards from the Florida Writers Association.
