White County Creative Writers--Conference

Please pass on details of our own conference and contests to your contacts. Conference to be held August 30, 2008 in Searcy, Arkansas, with 13 contests open to all - you do not have to attend to enter.

FSU Museum of Fine Arts Exhibit

     An exhibit called "The Story" with other children's book writers/illustrators is at the FSU Museum of Fine Arts until July 11.  Selected Tallahassee students will participate in this exhibit along with professionals from across the USA.
     Included in the display are my grandparents' poetry/picture books they made during World War 2 in Europe. As a contributing writer/artist, I have also visited public schools doing writing projects with elementary students.
     The reception is Friday May 23rd 6:30-8:30 pm.
